New Monmouth School (All-Purpose Room)
Have your scouts bring all of the food donations they have collected to our annual November pack meeting. We will sort all of the donations and get them ready to deliver to the Calico Cat so that they can be distributed to those in need this holiday season. Additionally, if you have any extra boxes to help sort the items, please bring them along.
Download and print the Scouting For Food Flyer for Scouts to give out to neighbors.

New Monmouth Elementary School (All Purpose Room)
Join us for our December pack meeting and holiday party. We will have a brief interfaith service, and then each Den will make an ornament. We will have a visit from Santa, and he will be giving each scout a special Scout present. We will also have a gift exchange for the scouts. We will play the "unwrapping of the ball" game. Finally, we will end with the singing of a Christmas carol.
For the gift exchange, if your scout would like to participate, we ask that your scout brings a small gift to put into a gift exchange pile. This year, we would like for the gift to be a small puzzle of some kind. Each scout who brings a gift will pick out a random gift from the pile in exchange.

Bring your scout's pinewood derby car to get inspected and impounded before the big race! We will weigh your scout's car and check the dimensions to ensure that the car meets all official requirements in order to compete in the derby. Cars that are not inspected ahead of time will not be able to compete in the derby on Sunday. If your car is too heavy, if the dimensions are wrong, or if there is any other issue, we will help you identify the issue and we can offer guidance on how to correct the issue before the derby on the following day.
Sunday, March 22, 2026 (3:00pm)
152 Maple Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701
We will be running our annual Pinewood Derby on the penultimate Sunday in March. This is an excellent opportunity for your child to design, build, and decorate their very own race car! The race fosters a healthy competitive spirit among the scouts in a fun and exciting setting. Over the years, scouts will see first hand how their designs have evolved, and they will understand the importance of iterative design as they hone their engineering skills through the course of their time in Scouts.
You can read through the official Pinewood Derby rules for Monmouth Council for more information.
